Finest and Elegant

Selection of the grape bud’s must, the finest and most elegant. Made with 100% Verdejo (Verdelho) grapes from old goblet vines (20%) and trellised vineyards aged over 20 years (80%).

Cold maceration of 30% of the grape, clarified must, fermentation at 15°C in stainless steel vats for 23 days, matured on yeast lees, clarified, stabilised at -4°C and filtered.

It presents a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. In nose, it distinguishes fresh aromas of good intensity. Memories of stone fruit, freshly cut grass and anised stands out. In mouth the intensity grows as it moves. It enters discreetly, with good acidity; the center is enveloping and fleshy, at the end the ripe fruit and the distinctive lightly bitter character appear.

A refined and full-bodied wine. The cellar’s crowning glory.

Alcohol: 12% Vol.

Conservation: It is recommended to keep the bottle lying down in a dark place, vibration and stable temperature between 15-20 ° C.

Designation of Origin Rueda

Grapes produced under this Designation of Origin (DO) are grown between 700 and 800 meters above sea level, on flat and high ground. Winters are cold and long and springs are short with late frost while summers are hot and dry.

Blanco Nieva DO

It is in the center of the Duero River’s basin and comprises a plateau with smooth relief and slopes exposed to winds from the Atlantic. The soil is grey-brown, rich in calcium and magnesium, easy to till and stony, well ventilated and well drained.

Blanco Nieva DO

Rueda Designation of Origin was approved by the Ministry of Agriculture on 12 January 1980. It was the first Designation of Origin to be approved in the Region of Castilla y León. The production zone covered by this DO is made up of 72 towns and villages, 53 of which are located in the south of the province of Valladolid, 17 to the west of Segovia and four north of Ávila.

The Rueda Denomination of Origin is a leading Spanish winery in Spain that produces white wine with its autonomous grape variety Verdejo (Verdelho), Spain’s perfect variety which is gradually seducing international markets.
